3rd Annual ‘Dumplings at Dusk’ is October 14, benefits Middle Susquehanna Riverkeepers

What do dumplings, John Denver, and sunsets have in common?

They’re all part of the 3rd Annual Dumplings at Dusk event to be held on Sunday, October 14, on the Hiawatha Paddlewheel Riverboat. Attendees will board the boat by 5:45 p.m., and festivities will kick off at 6 p.m.

The menu will feature homemade chicken and dumplings, followed by apple dumplings and ice cream. In addition, a live tribute to John Denver will be performed by Kj Reimensnyder-Wagner during the hour-long cruise on the Susquehanna River.

Celebrate the end of another successful summer season and support the work of the Middle Susquehanna Riverkeeper Association by attending this event.

Tickets are $30 per person and proceeds benefit the work of Middle Susquehanna Riverkeeper Association, which managed a full year of activities to celebrate the Pennsylvania 2018 River of the Year designation for Loyalsock Creek, launched the new Floating Classroom series on the Hiawatha this summer, and kept a watchful eye on flooding throughout the watershed during an unusual summer of weather events.

Reserve your spot by the rail (and dumplings too) here.
