Clinton County CleanScapes is proud to announce we will be coordinating two cleanup events in April — and you’re invited to join us!
The dates are April 14 and April 28.
On April 14, CleanScapes, Bald Eagle Boys Club and Lock Haven University volunteers will be cleaning up debris from an island located in the West Branch Susquehanna River in Colebrook Township (near Farrandsville, PA). The goal of this Clinton County project is to clear 35+ tires and litter from the island. To volunteer, sign up by noon on April 12.
Then, on April 28, CleanScapes will work with volunteers from local Boy Scouts, Lock Haven University and area townships to clean up multiple sites in the greater Jersey Shore, PA, area. This Lycoming County project is partially funded by the First Community Foundation Partnership of PA. To participate, sign up by noon on April 26.
Following every cleanup, volunteers are treated to lunch and refreshments. In addition, supplies such as trash bags, vests and bug spray are provided by CleanScapes.
These are just two of the many events we’ll be holding this year. We’re super excited to begin this year’s slate of events and continue positively impacting local communities.
