Join CleanScapes and Pine Creek Preservation Association for their 3rd annual Rt 44 North litter cleanup event Saturday November 8 at 9:30 am to 12 noon.
Teams will work near the Rt 44 North and Sulfur Run Road intersection, Clinton County. Gloves, bags, litter grabbers, safety vests and lunch for all registered participants. Previously, 51 caring community members collected 4,081 lbs. of litter and 7 tires from 5 roadside miles along Rt 44 North. Focus this year will not be along the roadway.
Volunteers will collect litter from a 2-acre upper creekbank area adjacent to the Rt 44 bridge. Expect moderately sloped and naturally overgrown vegetated terrain.
Youth must be accompanied by an adult participating.
