The Mount Riansares Vista Litter Cleanup is Saturday, April 20, 2024, in Lamar Township, Clinton County. The cleanup will take place between 9:30 AM and 12:30 PM. All volunteers should arrive by 9:15 AM.

Participants provided donuts, gloves, trash bags, safety vests & lunch!
Work area requires long pants and closed toes shoes.
Youth between the ages of 12-17 must be accompanied by a participating adult.
Volunteers will meet at the summit of Riansares Mountain in Bald Eagle State Forest. To get there from Route 64 in Mill Hall, drive along Long Run Road through Salona, and stay on Long Run Road in Lamar Township. Just after entering Greene Township, turn right/south onto Riansares Road. Stay on Riansares Road, and drive under the I-80 overpass. Drive to the top of the Riansares mountain, Bald Eagle State Forest. Follow orange flagging tape, and park near the communications tower. Former fire tower house 911 address is 1360 Riansares Road.
Participants will collect litter from the hillside and place the collected trash bags into larger Super Sac bags that can hold up to 500 pounds. The Super Sacs will be raised up the hillside by heavy equipment operators from the PA Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR).
